Archer's Downtown Austin Challenge

About Archer's Downtown Austin Challenge

Due to weather, Archer's Challenge and the After Party are moving to the Austin City Hall.

Archer Hadley challenges each of us bipeds to recognize how un-flat the world really is. Trade your feet for wheels and try to navigate your world from a wheelchair. We will provide the wheelchair and the transformative experience. You bring an open mind, and a willingness to try something amazing. Together, we will raise awareness and funds.

ARCHER'S DOWNTOWN AUSTIN CHALLENGE FRI. OCT 19: 200 plus people will join Archer Hadley for an immersive event that celebrates and promotes accessibility in public spaces. The Challenge begins at 12 p.m. at Austin City Hall in downtown Austin. Depending on weather, participants will be fitted for manual wheelchairs and then roll away to spend their day in the 2nd Street District with fun stops along the way, including a photo opportunity at the Paramount Theater under the marquee. Participants will head back to City Hall by 4 p.m. Archer is hosting a After Party from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please stick around, enjoy some food, beverage, live music, a game or two of corn-hole and meet Mayor Steve Adler, who will presiding.  The After Party is open to the non participants, so bring your BFF's and have a drink. Registration is open to the public.
